ブロードキャスターが終わってしまった。だからと言って特別悲しい気持ちになったり感情移入しているわけではないのですが。
17年続いた長寿番組も視聴率が低迷し、一時期の勢いを取り戻す事無く打ち切りとなり、後継の番組はビートたけしを起用したものになるらしい。

最終回の番組にはありがちですが、「お父さんのためのワイドショー講座」の過去の放送を振り返っていて興味深い内容があった。初期の放送ネタは圧倒的に芸能関係が多かったけれど、1995年辺りを境に政治・経済や事件を取り扱う割合が増えていったということ。ホントにこの１０年で色々と世間は変わったんだなと。1995年に一番放送されたのはオウム関連、次に阪神淡路大震災。今もその時の傷跡は完全に癒える事はない。

子供のころ、時々ちょっと夜遅くまで起きていたりすると、大抵私の親はブロードキャスターを見ていた。お父さんのためのワイドショー講座を親と一緒に見ていると、なんだかちょっとばかし自分が大人になったような気分になったりもした。まだ、「恋のカラ騒ぎ」を知らない時のことだった。
