見て来ました。
内容の批評は事前にいくつか目を通していましたが、実際に見てなるほどなと思いました。
オープニングのタイトルを見て初めて気がついたのですが、「本格科学冒険映画」とキチンと直されていたんですね。

一本の映画として編集されていないなと思います。
原作を読んでいない人にとっては、全体の話の流れを把握出来ないでしょう。
カット数が非常に多く、それぞれのシーンがどれも意味ありげに演出されていて、内容が分からないと落ち着いて見る事が出来ないと思います。
大きなスクリーンでそうした展開の運び方はありえません。テレビドラマならそれもありなんですけど。

原作の中でポイントとなるシーンを繋ぎ合わせた、言わばダイジェスト的な内容に仕上がってしまっています。漫画では味わう事が出来ない、臨場感や迫力を体感することに面白みを見いだせる人に取っては十分かもしれませんが、あくまでもこれは映画。申し訳ないですが、一つの作品として鑑賞することが出来なかったです。

キャラクターの登場シーンやセッティングが原作と違う所がいくつかありました。でも今後の展開を考えてみると、そうすることで人物紹介や回想シーンなどの余計なカットを省く事が出来る。過去と現在を振り返りながら、登場人物が増えていくという原作の流れのままだと、映像にした時に耐えきれないのでしょう。
こういうのが演出上の都合なんだなと思いました。

配役はどれもいいところをついていると思うんですが。子供時代の配役なんかかなりいい。
これは、キャスト選出の腕が良かったというよりは、浦沢直樹さんの人間描写力につきるんだと思います。
人としての特徴を巧く表現されていますよね。

とまぁ、珍しく映画批評みたいなことを書いてしまいましたが、次回作への不安が残る一作目でした。
とかいいつつ、次も見てしまうんだろうなぁ...。
